​Elwood City SC Development Squads Elwood City SC invites talented and ambitious boys and girls born between 2008 and 2018 to trial for our 2026 Development Squads.

Why Our Development Squad? Our program is designed for highly-skilled players who are committed to long-term growth. We offer an environment where you can truly refine your game, learn the tactics of football, and play alongside other dedicated players.

• Elevate Your Game: Train with experienced coaches two- three times a week, regular friendlies, honing your technique and learning specific positional insights. You'll experiencing different structures that will prepare you for the future.

• Top-Tier Competition: Our Development Squads compete in the Football Victoria U13-U18 A Teams and U7- U12 Kangaroo Community leagues, facing strong opponents and testing your skills every week.

• A Clear Path Forward: This program is for players who are hungry to learn and have the ambition to one day play in one of the top leagues. We believe that there are no shortcuts to success—just dedication, hard work, and a commitment to getting better every single day.

• A Team with a Vision: You'll train and play with like-minded, competitive players who share your drive to succeed. We also focus on developing your body to handle the demands of future training loads.

• Elwood has a strong philosophy of getting kids from Under 7 to Under 18’s into State League and then NPL. Our philosophy ensures we are focused on your individual child and not exorbitant Junior NPL fees and structures which we know don’t lead to the best outcomes for your child.
