Getting Started at Elwood City FC
How do I register my child?
Register easily via the Juniors registration page. If you need help, feel free to contact us — we’re happy to guide you through the process.
What age groups are available?
We welcome players at all levels from Under 8s to Under 18s, with teams designed to suit every stage of development.
What if my child is new to soccer?
Beginners are warmly welcomed! Our supportive coaches focus on developing skills, confidence, and a love for the game.
Are there girls' teams?
Yes! We’re proud to offer dedicated girls' teams across multiple age groups, providing a positive, empowering environment. Our program, EmpowerHer Sport Initiative, is designed to increase the participation of women and girls in sports through structured training, mentorship, and community engagement. The initiative focuses on both skill development and leadership opportunities to ensure long-term involvement in sports and physical activity.
Training, Teams & Competitions
When and where are training sessions?
Training times and locations are shared during registration. Our friendly coaches will ensure you have everything you need to get started.
How are teams formed?
Players join grading sessions to find the best fit for their skill level. If you can’t attend, no worries - our Technical Director can help
Are there any apps I need?
Yes! The GameDay app keeps you updated with schedules, fixtures, and results. Our team managers will guide you on how to set it up.
What are the registration fees?
Fees are $610 incl GST for Wallaby/Girls Teams and $560 Incl GST for Joey Players, plus governing body fees ($81–$129) and kit costs. See Annual club Fees here.

You will also need to Pay the Football Victoria/Football Australia Fees.

Fees help us provide high-quality coaching, safe playing spaces, referees, equipment, and fun club events. We aim to give every player the best possible experience
What equipment is required?
Official club kits can be ordered from Umbro online. If you’re unsure what’s needed, just ask - we’re happy to help.
Is financial assistance available?
